CITY OF WATERTOWN TO WAIVE FEES FOR ONLINE PAYMENTS DURING MONTH OF APRIL

In an effort to make it easier for people to pay bills and adhere to Coronavirus prevention guidelines, Watertown City Council is announcing they will eliminate fees for those wishing to pay City-related bills online via credit card.

Fees will be waived during the month of April, and potentially beyond, depending on how the Coronavirus pandemic evolves. A number of bills can be paid online, including water/sewer bills, trash tote bills, parking tickets and sewer permit bills.

“Residents are doing all they can to stop the spread of illness by staying home,” said Watertown City Council.

“By waiving the fee for online payment, we are hopefully making it easier for people to pay their bills and at the same time, protect their health and the health of their loved ones.”

Those wishing to pay bills online can do so by visiting the City of Watertown Website at www.watertown-ny.gov.
